Filler

Fillers, also known as dermal fillers, are substances injected into the skin to enhance facial features, restore volume, and smooth wrinkles:

  • Plump lips: Fillers can plump thin or flat lips
  • Soften wrinkles: smooth wrinkles, fine lines, and creases
  • Enhance contours: enhance the jawline, chin, and temples
  • Fill in hollows: fill in under-eye hollows or dark circles
  • Correct scars: improve the appearance of recessed scars
  • Reconstruct deformities: Fillers can reconstruct contour deformities in the face

Fillers are a type of nonsurgical cosmetic procedure that’s usually done as an outpatient procedure with numbing medication. The procedure can take up to an hour, and results are seen immediately. Recovery time is minimal, but there may be mild discomfort, bruising, and swelling for up to a week. Hyaluronic acid is a popular type of filler that’s a naturally occurring sugar molecule that adds volume and hydrates the skin

Xeomin

Temporarily relax the muscles in your face with anti-aging treatment Xeomin. Smooth the muscles in your face with Xeomin’s main ingredient, Botulinum toxin A, which blocks nerve activity and muscle movement in the treatment area. One of our providers can help you determine if Xeomin is the right injectable for your beauty goals. During a private consultation a provider will assess your wrinkles and provide a treatment plan with Xeomin or other injectables to rejuvenate your facial skin.

Botox

Botox injections work to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by blocking nerve signals to muscles, which prevents the muscles from contracting:

  1. Injection: A doctor injects a small, weakened dose of botulinum toxin into specific facial muscles.
  2. Nerve signal blockage: The toxin prevents nerve signals from reaching the muscles, causing them to relax.
  3. Muscle relaxation: The muscles relax, softening and reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
  4. Temporary effect: The effects of Botox are temporary and last for about 3–6 months.
  5. Repeat treatments: Repeated treatments can lead to longer-lasting effects.

Botox is most often used to treat frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines. It won’t help with wrinkles caused by sun damage or gravity.

Botox is derived from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum, which produces botulinum toxin.
