IV Information

IV Therapy is a method of administering Saline and any vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and/or amino acids directly into the bloodstream through intravenous (IV) infusion. It provides your body with nearly instant valuable nutrients by bypassing the digestive system and has been clinically proven to be more effective than oral supplements.
There are countless benefits of IV infusion therapy including increased energy, instantaneous vitamin absorption, and maintained hydration.
In short no, it does not hurt. But while everyone is different, the overall consensus from our patients on the process of starting an IV is “wow, that wasn’t bad at all!”. After a small and fast ‘pinch’ the IV will be inserted and you can start relaxing. Once finished, the provider will circle back to disconnect your IV and apply a small Band-Aid to get you on your way.
All vitamins and nutrients used at Youthful Expressions Med Spa are FDA approved and go through high levels of testing. Every IV therapy treatment is administered by a Licensed provider or medically trained staff member.
We do not accept insurance for IV vitamin therapy.

Yes! Whether it’s a corporate event, just you and your friend’s weekend retreat or a fun-filled bachelorette party, adding IV vitamin therapy helps keep everyone energized and feeling great.

Your guests are going to thank you after.

While you will benefit from a single IV vitamin treatment, our average IV clients visit 1-2x a week, depending on their lifestyle and goals. More than 2x per week is not recommended for most people

Before an IV infusion is ever started on a client, each client must have a health consult with one of our providers, during this consult vital signs are recorded, and their health history evaluated to ensure a safe experience.

Once the treatment has finished, clients can resume most, if not all activities immediately except for extremely heavy lifting. A staff member will discuss all discharge information with you before and after your treatment.

If B vitamins are beneficial individually, imagine how powerful they can be when combined! Vitamin B-complex contains the vitamins of the B complex group, including B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, and B12.
Together, the B vitamins help your body get energy from the foods you eat. The vitamin B complex contains the following: Vitamin B1 (thiamin) – essential for the healthy growth and function of your organs. Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) – needed to break down fats and medications. Vitamin B3 (niacin) – essential for good skin, healthy nerves, and functional digestion. Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) – needed for the health of the brain and nervous system. Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) – helps the body make new red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body. It also helps keep the immune system strong. Vitamin B7 (biotin) – essential for healthy hair, nails, and nerve function. Vitamin B9 (folic acid) – needed to make DNA and genetic material. Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) – used to maintain the health of nerves and blood cells.
Like iron, zinc is a metal found throughout our body and is considered an essential nutrient our bodies can only get from outside sources. It’s responsible for the creation of DNA, it plays an essential role in the wound-healing process, and it also fortifies your immune system when your body is invaded by a virus. It may also help with balancing hormone levels in the body.
