What Is Radiesse®?
Radiesse is an innovative product that can help you regain a youthful appearance by restoring your face’s natural contour and fullness. Using a calcium-based formula of hyaluronic acid, Radiesse was created as an injectable soft tissue filler and is considered a next-generation product due to the advances in filler technology. It is important to use a provider who is experienced with Radiesse so you can be sure to have full satisfaction with the new structure and balance of your features.
How Is Radiesse Applied?
On the day of your Radiesse procedure, the process is explained once again, and you have the opportunity to ask any additional questions. During your initial consultation, the provider determines the exact location for the injections and applies small marks to your face according to your personalized template. A topical anesthetic is typically used to reduce any stinging or pinching that you may feel during the treatment. Using the predetermined markings for guidance, the provider injects Radiesse underneath the skin using a small needle.
The entire process usually takes less than one hour and is performed in the comfortable and private environment of the practice.
How Long Does Radiesse Last?
The answer to the question, “How Often Will I Need to Get a Touch-Up?” is that it does not dissolve in the body, so it will continue to promote collagen growth in the target area and be effective for a year or more.
