WHAT TO EXPECT
Are Xeomin injections painless? No. However, we can provide you a topical anesthetic before the needle goes into your skin for the mild discomfort it may cause. Your session takes about 20 minutes but the results last about 3 months. Expect to see some swelling, redness or slight bruising at the injection site. Also, you should avoid strenuous activity for a few hours following your treatment.

Made of hyaluronic acid, Belotero wrinkle filler provides patients with smoother, more radiant skin without surgery. Dr. Shenaq is also able to modify the dosage to the individual for Belotero treatment based on the severity of the wrinkles and their location on the face. ADMINISTERING BELOTERO
Each patient will have their own custom dosage and specific injection site selected by the administrator. As with any injectable filler, some pain may be felt by the needle injection. Patients can request a topical anesthetic, which should work within 15 minutes, to eliminate pain or discomfort.
WHAT TO EXPECT
You can expect there to be some redness and swelling associated with the injection site for several hours after your visit. Not to worry, the Belotero will make your restored skin look amazing in a few short hours. Our practice recommends that you refrain from heavy activities for the first few hours after treatment. Belotero injections last about 6-12 months.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
Take into consideration that the cost of the syringe of Belotero is influenced by the dosage amount and strength in the syringe, and how much facial area needs coverage for the patient. You may only need 1 syringe for achieve your goals, but other patients may require 2 – 3 syringes for maximum benefit.
